Hope everyone had an awesome summer.  We did!  Our family stayed in McBride this summer for a full 2 weeks and wow did we see and enjoy a lot of the valley.  Put about 400 km`s on the atv`s, Latched onto a returning Chinook salmon that weighed about 22 lbs, watched my brother in law hook into a 14 lb Bull trout, (All fished released of course) Hiked across a few mountains, visited a few awesome waterfalls and spent some time panning for gold. I made about $10.00.  Ha ha.  All in all we have decided that next summer we are going to book our holiday for a month instead.

It wasn't all fun and games, During our stay we did some changes to the Mansion.  We took some feedback and went with it.  Both front and rear doors have pin pads for the lock.  The hide a bed is long gone and replaced with a sofa with 2 recliners in it.  To make up for the hide a bed There is now a twin bed and a queen in one of the rooms.  We can still sleep 5 adults in their own bed. Without that crappy hide a bed.  New blinds and lamps in all the rooms.  We went through all the kitchen utensils, plates etc, and I think everyone will be happy with what we did.  The rear compound gate has been raised so it wont drag in the snow.  And last if not least Joanne enjoyed taking care of the mansion last season and is back to keep the place spotless and tidy. She does such a wonderful job and I can honestly say I believe it is the cleanest and tidiest accommodation in all of McBride!

Hope to hear from all of last years friends that stayed.  Over half of you have reserved already for this season.  I have been posting more updates and pics on my facebook page. Its mobile with my phone so al lot simpler.  Check it out and Like our page to keep current with us.

Well everyone have a safe year and hope to speak with most of you and I always love hearing a good or bad adventure.
